Using another MCP app?
Albo uses a remote Streamable HTTP server with OAuth sign-in. Your app needs to support both. Developer setup instructions cover Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor and Gemini CLI; compatibility depends on the client.
- Add a remote HTTP MCP server named Albo using the URL above, including /mcp.
- Choose OAuth and use automatic client registration if available. Complete Albo’s sign-in in the browser. Do not paste an Albo password into an API-key or client-secret field.
- Enable Albo’s tools and try a question about your own saves. If the app cannot register or sign in, use one of the dedicated guides or check its MCP documentation.
You choose what to connect
A connected AI app can request Albo information and receive it in your conversation. Review account permissions and proposed changes before approving them. Removing a connection does not delete information already shared in past chats; manage those separately with the AI provider.
